Captured. Jennifer Regan.

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to experience a photo shoot By Sydney bridal designer Jennifer Regan. I helped dress and style models and the experience was oh so inspiring!
It enabled me to get up close to beautiful 1930's inspired bridal gowns, beautiful bead worked lace ,gorgeous silk fabrics and amazing styling!
To be part of such a creative group, designers, photographers, makeup artists etc! I just Love it!

I shall be working at Dion lee, next exciting!!!

SOLD.

We had a garage sale, sold clothes and altered designs that we had made our selves! Great day bumming round in our friends front lawn drinking slurpees, playing with bubbles and dressing up in vintage finds!
The fun things in life are simple.

To make sense of it all???

I just spent the last hour collecting pictures of pretty dresses that i liked. This week i have been talking to a few girls about inspiration and images and how much i love them. Why i waste my time doing this I'm not sure... but it does excite me, it does inspire me and hopefully one day i will be able to make create design or be apart of something so beautiful as these images! No one can stop you being creative no matter how big or small.
But for now I'm OK with this nonsense...

au revoir

So the story continues... but at this stage there is no, happily every after, at this point in my life I say farewell to an influential part of my life. One of the reasons I chose to study fashion in the first place!.
Clarissa Grace, after a successful decade in the Bridal industry is crafting her final gown, sending off he last bride and closing her doors. After working there 6 months I have had the pleasure of learning so much and being a part of something so beautiful!
I remember the first time I laid eyes on her designs it was at school when my textiles teacher was trying to inspire us for our future major works... Each gown was beautifully crafted with french laces, natural silks embellished with crystal beading and antique flowers.....
I fell in love....
These dresses are not like your traditional wedding dress they speak of fairytale fantasies, reminiscing on silhouettes and techniques of the past. Gorgeous draping techniques, stunning corseted silhouettes, hand beading and embellishments, each dress is crafted with a personal caring touch. They each carry their own personalised name which speak of love and romance such as ' 'Tender is your touch' or 'Dreaming of you' Clarissa grace has created a romantic wonderland, You step through her doors and are greeted with beautiful antique mirrors lamps and chairs, and serenaded by classic romance songs. Brides leave her store dreams and wishes granted with the perfect dress for their perfect wedding day.To say good by to such a dreamland
to loose such an inspiration will leave such a hole within the bridal industry.

farewell and au revior
we wont forget.
