Emaly Love business cards and packaging!
Again my heart finds joy in celebrating another creative talent! This may be the first, but it will not be the last you have heard of OC designs! The mastermind behind the next Emaly Love packaging is, Owen Cutbush,he is the guy who knows his stuff when its comes to graphics, imagery and computers! Graphic artist and proclaimed photographer Owen is building a name for himself already! When we first met, I was just a girl obsessed in pretty dresses and he, a young boy dreaming of being a mechanic, he went on to pursue mechanics until he decided on a career change to graphics at the beginning of 2009 which he claims is the " best thing he has ever done" and obviously we cant agree more!
Studying graphic design at St George TAFE he has already achieved so much within the two years he has studied. He has been working on numerous projects and freelance work which have lead to achievements such as....
1st place in competition to design Central and Regional Student Excellence Awards 2010 program, invite and signage design.1st place in competition to design four window display adverts for the Ultimo Science Festival.
Commendation for packaging design in the Southern Cross Packaging Design Awards Australia
He has also been selected to be on the student council for St George TAFE and the AGDA (Australian Graphic Design Association) and much much more!
The thing that excites me is his joy, passion and motivation for what characterizes his talent, an attribute i envy and wish I had myself! On completing his studies he wishes to hopefully find a job in a graphic design firm in the city and continue doing freelance work every now and then. In the end his real desires as stated by Owen himself is:
"Ill go where ever God leads Me" :-)
