All i really wanna do is sit by you!

OK boys, before I begin this blog i would just like to make it clear that I watched the state of origin tonight and i know that Queensland won! So I hope that cuts me some slack and gives me some credit points before I go off on my girly tangents!
Sitting beside some one, In a day and age where random hook ups and one night stands seem to be the norm, its hard to really know what real love is! I have been inspired by the simple act of some one sitting beside you. An act, that usually goes unnoticed or is taken for granted. For someone to sit by you at a movie, on a train, at lunch or at school may not mean much to you. But maybe the thought of some one who wants to chat or someone happy to sit with you in peaceful and contented silence may mean enough to you to feel appreciated and loved.
BUT...
Most of all I'm sure we all treasure the person who is willing to sit beside us through life's ups and downs, till death do us part! My grandpa has chosen to sit by my grandma for over 50 years and they have pretty much written the story of the notebook! I think that such a simple selfless act is what this day and age needs to bring to the fore front! Hope it gives you some comfort in love, or a way to show someone you care...
Guess what!! ....Im not done...
Even so, there is one being that is willing to sit by us through life and beyond. He loves us to much he does not want to just sit by us in life but has ensured that he can sit by us well into eternity. Jesus Christ, has achieved this by dieing on a cross and rising from the dead ensuring a place in heaven for us:

Deuteronomy 31:8

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

He already has our seat reserved:
All we have to do is say yes!
